Click-Through Rate (CTR)
Ratio of clicks to impressions. A core funnel metric in the Performance Forecasting module.
Definition
Click-Through Rate (CTR) is the ratio of clicks to impressions-how often users who see content actually click. It's a core funnel metric in digital marketing and commerce. Sentient OS incorporates CTR into the Performance Forecasting module and KPI aggregation. CTR indicates interest and intent; combined with conversion rate, it traces the full funnel. The platform analyzes CTR in context: which audiences, which content, which timing drive higher CTR? CTR feeds multi-factor conversion modeling and budget allocation. Like all metrics, Sentient examines CTR for integrity-inorganic clicks are detected by the Integrity Layer.
Why It Matters
CTR is a core funnel metric. Sentient incorporates it into Performance Forecasting and ensures it's not inflated by bots.
